Why we want to hire veterans

Goodwill offers customized job placement, on-the-job training, and ongoing support across a variety of roles, including custodial services, clerical/data entry, assembly, groundskeeping, packaging, and product fulfillment. Participants earn paychecks while building work history, soft skills, and job readiness.

By partnering with organizations like WorkQuest and SourceAmerica, and collaborating with federal, state, and local agencies, Goodwill expands access to meaningful, sustainable employment while promoting workforce diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout South Texas.

WORKS Program (Paid Work Experience)

  • Supported by certified CRP leaders and case managers

  • Positions available in custodial and groundskeeping roles, including off-site contracted work

  • Connects job seekers with disabilities to employment opportunities matched to their skills
