Harness Designer

Job Title: Harness Designer Pay Rate: Up to $ 70/hr. (DOE)Location: Berkeley, CA Zip Code: 94702A Harness Designer job opportunity is available with our client in Berkeley, Ca.Job Duties: * Complete Mechanical design and 3D definition of the fire suppression system wire harnesses and any necessary surrounding items.a) Harness passthroughs to enable harness paths through the enclosure.b) Mounting provisions for harnesses within the enclosurec) Connections to the off-the-shelf HVAC system d) Connections to actuated valves and release modules e) Connections for temperature detectors, horns, and manual release assemblies.f) Routing for all the above* Completed design and 3D definition of the quad skid system wire harnesses and any necessary surrounding items.a) Harness passthroughs to enable harness paths through the enclosureb) Mounting provisions for harnesses within the enclosure c) Connections to the DC-DC modules d) Connections to quad skid management unit PCBA e) Connections for all sensors within the quad skid f) Routing for all of the above.* Completed 2D definition of the harnesses described aboveKnowledge/Skills/Experience * Knowledge of 3D data and 2D drawings.* SolidWorks Electrical * Familiar with PDM systems for CAD file managementBelcan is an equal opportunity employer.
