• Reports known or suspected security and/or theft problems to a member of store management, appropriate District Manager, and/or Asset Protection department.
• Complies with all agency policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout all work areas; maintains same to meet CARF, Department of Labor, and other regulatory standards.
• Leads retail team and store activities in the absence of/and at the direction of the Retail Store Manager and/or Retail Assistant Store Manager; see Supervisory Responsibilities below.
• Performs all administrative and clerical duties including but not limited to completing opening/closing duties, making bank deposits and securing the building at the direction of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager
Must be able to:
• Read and interpret memos and operating and procedure manuals.
• Effectively present standard information in one-on-one situations to customers and other team members of the organization using tact, courtesy and cooperativeness.
• Add/subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide by 10's and 100's.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables.
• Operate a telephone, multi-key register, typewriter, computer, fax machine, and material handling equipment.
• Obtain and maintain Forklift/Stacker and CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Perform data entry and keyboarding.
• Instruct or verify the work of others.
