Ironworkers Local 498 Rockford, IL is accepting Apprenticeship applications
We accept applications year-round. We will notify you of the date (Saturday), time, and location of the agility and aptitude test semi-regularly (generally quarterly). If you make the cut on the agility and aptitude test you will be notified of the interview date, time, and location. This will be done with the Joint Apprentice Training Committee (JATC) which is made up of people you will work with (Labor) and people you will work for (Management). You will then be placed on an eligibility list based on your cumulative score and receive a letter. We will use your contact information to keep you up to date with the latest application process information. So make sure that is current with us or notify us of changes.

Requirements
Each new applicant will be required to pay a $25.00 non-refundable administration fee and be required to furnish the following:
- Copy of his/her birth certificate.
- High school transcripts and a copy of GED test scores (if applicable).
- Copy of valid drivers’ licenses.
- Copy of resume (Optional).
- Copy of any further education credits (Optional).
- Copy of Military Service Discharge papers (DD214) (if applicable).
