Applications can be obtained at Local Union #5, 1 Scobie Drive, Newburgh, NY from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. every Monday, excluding holidays, during the recruitment period ( March 2, 2026 - March 1, 2027)
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma (such as TASC or GED).
- Must be physically be able to perform thew work of the Bricklayer, Mason Plasterer as noted below:
- Work in all types of weather
- Capable and willing to travel long distances
- Adapt to various job conditions such as comfortable with heights/work on scaffold (swing, pipe and hydraulic lifts)
- Must be able to pass a drug test upon offer of employment paid for by the sponsor.
